The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both skills and a passion for sport. Expected to always on the lookout for new beverage trends and also create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise shifts in Sports Bar to ensure all shifts run with a seamless approach
Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage items that are offered in the bar and ensure the team carry the same knowledge
Ensure compliance with all food and beverage policies, standards and procedures
Inspect storage areas for cleanliness and organization
Complete stock inventories on a regular basis and order stock as required
Support with training and developing the team
Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships and be flexible to supporting in all areas if required
Identify, develop and introduce ways to upsell and increase revenue within the department
Key Requirements:
Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Previous Food & Beverage supervisory experience in ideally within a sport bar
Knowledgable about sport that revolves around the world
Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
