Habitat Hospitality is an experienced Bali-based hospitality company that provides management and advisory services. Our team of experts offers a range of services that include concept innovation, outlet operation, construction, administrative, and due diligence required for starting or managing a successful hospitality business.
A Social Media Specialist manages and implements social media strategy, including creating, curating, and publishing content, engaging with the audience, and analyzing performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the organization's goals and target audience.
• Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., text, images, videos, and infographics)
• Manage and maintain social media accounts, including posting content, scheduling posts, and monitoring comments ad messages.
• Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
• Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to keep the organization’s presence competitive.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, design, and customer support) to ensure a cohesive online presence and consistent brand messaging.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule and thematic alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but only sometimes required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Typically requires 1-2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing. Experience in a specific industry may be a plus.
• Proficiency with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and knowledge of their best practices.
• Strong writing and creative skills to develop engaging content. Basic graphic design and video editing skills may be beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with the online community and internal teams.
• Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems and implement solutions
